What inspired you to pursue a career in the dental field?
I was truly inspired to pursue a career in the dental field because I love to help people and to educate them as well on the importance of good oral hygiene.
What made you decide to join Kool Smiles?
I joined Kool Smiles because I felt it best suited me in my journey to see patients from all over. The diversity is also essential in a corporation. Kool Smiles gives me a chance to see and help families in need.
What do you love most about working at Kool Smiles?
What I like most about Kool Smiles is the comforting atmosphere and work environment.
What keeps you going? What is your motivational mantra?
Seeing the patients return and know that they are doing better and are listening to you. It is an awesome feeling when your patients remember and trust you.
What advice do you have for people trying to make a difference in the world of dentistry?
My advice for people trying to make a difference in the world of dentistry would be to follow your dreams, be patient and willing to learn and open to change.
Why did you decide to apply for this mission trip?
I applied for the mission trip because I feel like I’ve been given such a tremendous opportunity in life, and to share my gifts and talent would be so fitting and fulfilling. Besides, I’d like to continue the “Smile On” campaign outside the U.S and celebrate diversity.
How do you plan to live out the Kool Smiles mission on your trip?
I plan to live out the Kool Smiles mission on my journey by serving with compassion, kindness and a heart of humility.
What sort of impact do you hope to make among the communities you will be serving?
As a dental professional, I already have a heart for serving others, and it is a great joy to work with children who are, indeed, our future. The impact of serving in another country will only amplify my love for serving others even more.
